About Me
At just 28 years old, I found a lump in my breast during a simple shower self-breast exam. Something that would change my life forever. Despite my concerns, I was denied a mammogram due to my age and advised to “wait and see” for six months. I refused to wait. I fought for my care, my voice, and my life—and today, I stand here as a proud two-year breast cancer survivor.
I am Rosa Marie Skinner: wife, mother, nurse, and founder of RosAboveCancer Inc. I am also a breast cancer advocate, ambassador, and motivational speaker/panelist. Our mission is simple but powerful.
Through RosAboveCancer Inc., we share life-saving information about prevention, self-exams, treatment options, and the latest statistics—while creating a community where women can find both knowledge and support.
